PLAYING ROBOTIC DRUMS WITH AN OCTATRACK MKII
Homemade robot drums played live using an Electron Octatrack MKII. The drums were originally made for an installation called #UNRAVEL. Small GM10 motors are triggered by MIDI using a J-Omega board. There is a latency in the drum triggering because of the time it takes for the GM10 to swing the beater. I had to work around by only using comb filters to create all the synth sounds.
